I recently took a trip to Orlando from New York. I flew Delta and they offer Gogo inflight internet on their flights. Normally a flight pass for Gogo inflight internet is $9.95. It was a short flight and I don’t have a monthly pass but I was still able to use my laptop to access some web sites on my flight.
I’m not sure how many people are aware of it but passengers can access MilePoint on flights without purchasing a pass. Along with FlyerTalk, this is a great web site for frequent fliers. I strongly recommend signing up for an account and being an active forum user if you’re interested in frequent flyer miles (why would you be reading this blog if you weren’t interested in frequent flyer miles).
Shopping
You have full access to the following shopping web sites: Amazon, Groupon and Gilt. If you have accounts with those websites you can log into your account.
Destination
It’s the same deal with OpenTable and Stubhub. You have full access and you can log into your accounts, if you have any.
News & Entertainment
The only news I could find was People. You see those 8 links on the page, those are all the stories you have access to so you’ll be done reading this section pretty quick.
