Recently, I was in Las Vegas for July 4th. This wasn’t the first time I was in Las Vegas for July 4th. I’ve already seen the fireworks on the Strip so this time, I decided to head down to Fremont Street to check out the festivities there.

Fremont Street is not close to the Las Vegas Strip at all. If you have a car, you can drive yourself. If you don’t have a car, you can take a taxi or take the public bus. The taxis are pretty expensive in Vegas so I took the bus. From the Strip you can either take the SDX express (recommended) or the double decker Deuce.  I recommend taking the SDX because it’s an express bus that make less stops and gets your there quicker. The buses don’t drop you off at the same place but the bus stops are pretty close together. If you’re going at night, most of the other tourists on the bus will probably get off on the Fremont Street stop also.
