For Radisson’s Big Night Giveaway Promotion I stayed one night at the Radisson Hotel in Orlando – International Drive. The next night I changed hotels to stay at the Country Inn & Suites at Orlando Maingate (but it’s pretty much in Kissimmee). I was able to find a rate of $62/night but with the taxes and the $8 resort fee it ended up being around $78. Overall it was not a bad deal because I ended up netting over 47,000 points with my bonus points from the promotion.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Orlando – International Drive for Radisson’s Big Night Giveaway Promotion. I found a rate of $89/night but with the taxes and $10 resort fee, it came out to about $110 total. The resort fee “covers parking, & access to the YMCA located on property”. This isn’t the cheapest rate I’ve seen there (I’ve seen the $79/night rate come up before) but it worked for my mattress run purposes. I ended up netting over 54,000 points from this one stay with the promotion bonus.

Recently, I wrote about Radisson’s Big Night Giveaway Promotion. I took part in this promotion last year and felt it was a great value.

Last week, I was in Orlando and I was able to stay at the Radisson Hotel on International Drive and the Country Inn & Suites at Orlando Maingate. I checked my account this weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see that my points has already posted. Last year for this promotion, the points posted pretty quick but I don’t know if it was this quick. I am impressed with how quick Club Carlson posted the points.

Today I was lucky enough to take part of the Delta Rangers Fan Flight. This flight was for fans attending the Rangers vs Devils game and would be departing from LGA airport and landing in EWR airport. This promotion sounds pretty crazy and cool at the same time. Crazy because it would be faster for me to go to the game on my own but cool because something like this has only been done once before.

Radisson’s Big Night Giveaway Promotion

At 12:01 AM CDT on May 15, 2012 Radisson will be opening up registration for its Big Night Giveaway Promotion. With this promotion, you are able to get 50,000 Club Carlson points for a one night qualifying stay at any Radisson or Radisson Blu hotel worldwide from May 15, 2012 to July 15, 2012. Only the first 100,000 people to register will received 50,000 points. If you’re not one of the first 100,000 people to sign up, you only get 15,000 Club Carlson points. I was able to get in on this promotion last winter. I stayed one night at the Radisson Lexington Hotel in New York for about $115 and used the 50,000 points towards a couple nights stay at the Park Plaza Soi 18 Hotel in Bangkok. I wrote up a hotel review about my stays there.
